Use of natural dyes is not new to our weavers or craftsmen but with the market being flooded with synthetic colours, natural dyes lost their market and appeal when compared with cheaper and brightly coloured fabrics. Ccap organised training for weavers on natural dyes in Kothuru by the renowned Jagada Rajappa. We intend to revive this age old craft which is not only gentle on the skin but environment friendly as well.
