The 7th of August has been observed as National Handloom Day since 2015. This day marks the revival of the Swadeshi Movement of 1905 and the recognition of the weaver’s contribution to the socio economic development of the country. For the first time Ccap Vijayawada observed the day at Koneru Lakshmaiah University campus among students, weavers, teaching staff and the management. CCAP also used this platform for our awareness program ‘Style Se.’
