Over the last few years CCAP has collaborated with several organisations with similar ideologies. To name a few The Craft Tree Visakhapatnam, National Institute of Design Vijayawada, Loomkatha, APCO, Handmade Collectives, Creative Dignity, Uzramma of Malkha, Bhagavatula Charitable Trust. There are many more in the offing which we are excited about.
CCAP PARTICIPATION IN CII PARTNERSHIP SUMMIT VISAKHAPATNAM
Crafts council of Andhra Pradesh participated in the 30th edition of the CII Partnership Summit held at
Visakhapatnam on 14th and 15th November 2025.
The Objective was to showcase the products of Artisans , who have been working under the Crafts Council
of Andhra Pradesh. These products have been conceptualised under the guidance and design intervention
of CCAP.
Kalamkari – Display of modern take on kalamkari and also demo and hands-on-experience of the art.
Etikoppaka- lacquer toys with a modern twist, products made specifically for the Partnership summit.
Ponduru Khadi-Display of Khadi products in fusion with weaves of other states.
This event aided in providing exposure and confidence to the artisans we work with to showcase their products which have been experimented with for the modern market. And also to demonstrate the art and its making to the delegates and dignitaries.
It was a two day event , CCAP was allotted a stall in the AP pavilion alongside other Govt. Organisations such as Lepakshi, Handloom industry, Tourism industry.
CCAP took this opportunity to showcase and promote local weaves and handicrafts. Members and artisans had an opportunity to interact with various foreign and Indian dignitaries, and explain our rich
cultural heritage.
Etikoppaka made some pencil cases and paper weights for this event , keeping corporate gifts in mind.
Khadi exhibited his jamdanis and fusion of Khadi with Kanchi borders and Paithani borders.
We also had the demo/ hands on experience of Kalamkari from Kalamshastra.
